Making positive dietary changes can lower cholesterol levels and helps in the prevention of coronary heart disease.

Many diet and lifestyle factors can lower cholesterol levels, some more than others. It has been proven that the single most effective way to lower blood cholesterol with dietary change is to consume 2–2.5g plant sterols per day, as part of a healthy diet and lifestyle.
